Not content with just touring the world, One Direction have now launched a campaign that wants to change the world.

The band’s teamed up with action/2015, which says it’s a global citizen’s movement.

They want 1D fans to help them tackle “climate change”, “inequality” and “extreme poverty”.

Just hours after posting this video online, thousands had shared their visions for a better future.

“At two historic summits in September and December,” explains Harry Styles, “world leaders will make decisions that affect important human issues.”

“Now is the time to raise our voices to show that we care,” chips in Louis Tomlinson.

Niall then asks the band’s enormous fan base to once again demonstrate “how incredible, passionate and creative” they can be, before Liam asks them to “put pressure on our leaders” by uploading a video or picture that will “tell us what you want your world to look like in the future”.

Charity Save the Children UK is involved with action/2015 and action/1D, and say the content shared by One Direction’s fans will be part of a film to be presented to world leaders this autumn.
